COMMITTED TO TRANSFORMING GARDEN SPACES INTO THRIVING ECOSYSTEMS OF BIODIVERSITY AND RESILIENCE.

At sea blush gardening, restoration is not just about the plants.

Restoration work aims to repair what was disrupted, renew the relationships between people and place, and remind us that we are part of these living systems — not separate from them.

Custom Garden Design

Every ecosystem is dynamic. I help design and tend to gardens that can evolve with the changing climate, seasons, and needs of their caretakers. Gardens thrive when people are part of their story. I encourage active collaboration with clients in the design and restoration process.

Habitat Revitalization

Native plants are already adapted to our climates and are more resilient than we realize. By removing invasive species and learning how to manage and encourage native species to grow, we can transform even the smallest space into one of ecological resilience. Not only does introducing more native plant species help to feed our local pollinators - it also enhances soil composition and reduces water use in the garden.

Sustainable Garden Care

Use of native plants in the landscape and tending to the garden in a sustainable way, lends itself to reducing the maintenance and work required in the garden. Native plants do not require the same pruning and fertilization schedules as ornamental species. These native species are more resilient to changes in climate and are less likely to be eaten by deer and other pests.

About Sea blush

Dedicated to sustainable gardening

specializing in native plant design

At Sea Blush, my goal is to work with clients, families, and communities to educate on the many ways you can help your garden ecosystems flourish. Together, we can transform them into vibrant spaces of community connection and ecological healing.

I work with clients to expand their understanding of the ecosystems surrounding them. Education is a key part of restoration work. If you are already interested in using native plants in the landscape, it is likely you already recognize their importance. I want to help  clients to bolster that recognition and create further understanding of the essential nature of native plants. By recognizing each key piece in an ecosystem, we can reimagine what a thriving garden looks like.

Whether you are tending to a few potted plants on your patio, cultivating a food forest, or removing invasive species from your garden, I am here to support you in creating an ecological legacy rooted in compassion, resilience, and understanding.

They currently volunteer at Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary helping with invasive species removal. They created Sea Blush Gardening in August 2024 as they saw the need for more restoration-based landscaping services.

Cyrus is originally from Labrador and grew up on the land of the Innu and Inuit peoples.  Like many 90s' kids, Cyrus spent much of their childhood running around outdoors, developing a deep love and appreciation for nature.
